SMS Policy

Effective Date: May 13, 2026

SMS / Text Messaging Policy

This SMS Policy describes how YLG, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) communicates with you via text message (SMS) and your rights regarding those communications. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through one of our website forms, you agree to this SMS Policy in addition to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

We use SMS messaging to support our legal services. Messages may include:

  • Case status updates and case-related communications
  • Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
  • Notifications about documents that require your review or signature
  • General information about the legal services you have requested from us

2. How You Opt In

You opt in to receive text messages from YLG, LLC by checking the SMS consent box on one of our website forms and submitting your mobile phone number. Checking that box is voluntary — you can still submit our intake and contact forms without agreeing to receive SMS messages, and doing so will not affect our willingness to respond to your inquiry through other channels.

3. Sending Number

Text messages from us will be sent from +1 (404) 689-2820. We may also occasionally send messages from short codes or other long codes operated on our behalf by our SMS communications provider.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive will depend on your interaction with our firm — for example, the stage of your matter, the number of appointments scheduled, and the volume of case updates.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent to or received from us. We do not charge a separate fee for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may. Please check with your carrier if you have questions about your plan.

6. Opting Out — Reply STOP

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the message “STOP” to us, we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to opt back in, sign up again through one of our website forms or contact us directly.

7. Getting Help — Reply HELP

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or get help directly from us using the contact information in Section 10 below.

8. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service is available on most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and others. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy — No Sharing for Marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of our services (e.g., our case management or communications providers) is permitted. All other categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

For our full privacy practices, please review our Privacy Policy.
